Meet Our World-Class Teachers
Mrs. Chédene Broderick
Owner & Head Vocal Coach
Chédene Broderick has been a singer-songwriter for over 15 years. She has performed in many different shows and productions and has been teaching vocals for 6 years. In 2010 she released her first album, 100% Me. The recording process got Chédene really passionate about being able to provide a space for everyone to learn, perfect and record their music. “Recording is the best part. I loved every minute of it and could do it everyday.” Chédene’s performance experience ranges from award ceremonies such as “The Stefan Hair awards” to arena shows such as “The Man from Snowy River”.
Chédene is very passionate about her work and takes pride in her ability to teach at a high standard. In 2015 Chédene began studying Confidence and Self Esteem coaching. “I had struggled for so many years with my confidence on stage and never really had a guide to help me through it, so I decided I would incorporate it into the way I taught. I feel it is really important that all performers are confident in what they do.” It is important to her that all her students achieve everything that they aspire to. “Being able to watch a student smile and be excited about what they have achieved is everything to a teacher. It is so important that they are taught the correct skills so they are able to then move forward with their own goals. That is why I love to teach”.

Mrs. Amelia Crawfoot
Woodwind & Piano Teacher
Amelia believes that as an educator it is critical to treat all students with equality, regardless of age, gender, nationality and intellectual ability. Amelia also believes it is very important to tailor the way in which she teaches a concept, and to understand it from a student’s point of view. With patience and understanding it is possible to get to the heart of how students learn and in hand help them reach their goals.
Amelia prides herself in her ability to make her students feel important, respected, believed in, encouraged, supported and challenged so that they are able to reach their full potential. Amelia believes strongly in teaching each individual student as just that, an individual. “There are many things I get my students to do, reinforce, check and repeat but without patience, standards and individual responsibility for my student’s and myself, I believe they can’t grow.”
Amelia is a big believer in going above and beyond the scope of her teaching duties which makes her stand out above most. She is a strong believer in dedication and inspiration for not only her students but also for herself. “My goal for the future is to continually reflect on my practice as an educator with a view to improve my technique, tools, mindset and experiences.”

In that time, having students ranging from 5 through to 95 years Wendy has found that all students have enjoyed the one on one teaching that has allowed them to learn at their own speed and not be held back by other students. This aspect of teaching is very important to Wendy as she feels it is the best way to learn the basics as well as the ability to grow.
Wendy enjoys teaching all ages, from beginners to experienced adults. She has found that no matter what their experience level her students enjoy each and every lesson they have with her. Mr Alex Mills
Drum Teacher
Alex is a 30 year old Artist from Sydney. Music has always been a fundamental part of his everyday life and he knew that it could help him through difficult times. Starting with a Pair of drumsticks, a pillow and a dark van Alex started with drums as a form of therapy. Through everything drums lit a fire within which quickly filled his soul giving him purpose once again… The drum had called and he had answered.
Alex soon became fixated on rhythm, bringing his drumsticks to work and tapping in his lunch break, listening to drum podcasts while he built movie sets, the whole time anticipating the moment he would get to play his first drum kit.
Percussion has continued to help Alex heal and been a constant in his life. Training in sound healing, learning to craft percussive medicine instruments and now teaching drums. Alex is excited to share his love of Percussion with his students to not only give back to the instrument that has enriched his life, but to share with his students its potential healing power. Whether you want to be the next John Boneham, groove like Bernard Perdie or just have fun with this powerful instrument, Alex will show you the way to the wonderful world of the drums.

Mr Cameron Whelan
Guitar & Bass Guitar Teacher
Cameron is an experienced musician across a range of musical styles. Playing with contemporary classical, folk, metal, rock, and even electronic outfits over the years has given him a broad understanding of music and a keen insight into developing your own musical style. Cameron still actively composes for and plays in bands which have taken him around the country, and even as far as Japan. On top of extensive experience as a working musician he also has his Honours in music, specialising in production and experimental composition.
Cameron is very passionate about music, and like so many others music was a major part of his life growing up. Raised on a steady diet of Irish and Rock music, Cameron grew up with an appreciation for the more traditional aspects of music as well as the more outrageous rule-breakers. The different worlds of the folk session and the rock concert played no small part in Cameron’s affinity for the magic that happens with live music.
As a music teacher, Cameron strives to guide students towards finding their own musical voice and utilize practical approaches to understanding what music is and how it works. And of course, to extract as much enjoyment as possible out of playing an instrument.
